Yes, that's a good point. But it's hard to trace back when a tribe or a union of tribes becomes a meaningful entity and 'a people' and that's why we usually refer to an official founding dynasty. It's like tracing back the origins of a language - the more you go back, the less defined and characteristic it becomes.

We have kind of legend or myth that St. Andrew in his North tour reached Novgorod (Slovensk settlement at the time), but no artifacts or written evidences exists and Orthodox Christianity came back here only centures later.

With the weakening of the Empire, Bulgarian Simeon I in 913 was the first to take the title as hereditary for his dynasty, which was long before Ivan III was the first Russian to call himself tsar in 1472. This is meaningful because both czars and kaisers have represented the continuation of the Roman power in the same name: both America and Russia now declare themselves lords of czars. Thus there has long been an east-west balance of power that inherits the mantle of the Roman empire and which the devil is trying to infiltrate for his globalist empire.

What are you on about? How did you insert America into all this, when the US is built on Enlightenment anti-monarchical revolutionary and secular ideas that go against the traditional Church teachings and Church history? The true continuation of the Byzantine two-headed eagle symphonia is the Russian Empire. We're talking about dynastical inheritance too. The Western monarchies never managed to balance Church and state roles and fell into power dialectics even before the schism because Rome became increasingly secular and behaved the Pope conceived himself as a world emperor (hence the three-tiered crown). The freemasonic republic experiment in America is yet one step further than the degenerate western monarchies and the heretical RCC. It's worse than pagan Rome in fact and is closer to Babylon and Sodom and Gomorrah.
America seized the power of the kaisers and immediately started appointing czars. That's a nominal hint. The Cold War indicates a global duopoly represented by the two feet of the Daniel 2 statue.
The enemy to come will certainly use his infiltrations in both America and Russia to consolidate power (I count the powers as Washington, London-Rome, Tokyo, BRICS, Mideast, and Africa). I'm not sure why this would trouble Orthodox eschatology.
There was no "Roman power" in that areas. In the largest possible state of Roman Empire, it didn't really expanded further than south beach of Black Sea.
Roman Empire had too short hands for that regions, and never had any noticeable influence over them.
There was much more Greek cultural, linguistic, traditional, religious influence, not Roman.
The only trace of Roman Empire in that region could be Romania. At least, their language have Latin roots, but they are Orthodox Christians, and never was Catolics.
All that "tzar"/"caezar", "Moscow is a Third Rome, and there will never be Fourth one" and so on things have nothing to do with Roman Empire, it is all about Christianity, that in Orthodox tradition developed trough Ancient Rome (first Rome, lost its title after Catolic schism in 1054), Byzantium (Second Rome, lost its title after defeat from Ottoman Empire in 1453) and eventually Moscow took that title as an only Imperial ancestor of Orthodox Christianity.
