That's still nothing compared to the thousands of martyrs of the early Church when the Roman emperors prosecuted Christians. All the apostles were martyred except John.

Who burned the books?
Everyone burned and banned books historically. Do you know what books were burned and why they were burned? Burning dangerous and degenerate books is a good thing. That's one of the few things I applaud the nazis for doing, even though it's blown out of proportion and was a one time thing done by student movements and not sanctioned by the party.
Imagine a world were Das Kapital or some other degenerate influential book was burned and never got to the public? "But muh freedom of speech!" Stfu.

There was no Vatican at his time and neither was there Roman Catholicism. Rulers at that time may have burned and banned books but they also didn't have pride parades, they didn't transitioned their children and weren't getting cucked by invading muslims. I don't think people living today are in a position to criticize those living in the Middle Ages about any of this stuff.

Bro, the Ukrainians were literally supporting and celebrating the Nazis when they liberated them from the commies. The nazis treated them so badly though by waging a “war of extermination” that they sided with the commies that were literally genociding them before the war started. If Hitler treated the Slavs better, the war in the Soviet Union would have been much more easier and Hitler could have won.
Hitler knew the Bolshevik plan to invade Europe and only made a pact with them to buy time while he built up Germany's strength. The only thing they were "externinating" was the rape, torture, and murders the Bolsheviks brought. Slavs alone would not have swung the outcome of the war, they were up against the entire world.
If Hitler treated the slavs properly, partisan resistance would have been smaller which would have freed up divisions for the front. Also, many slavs would have fought for them which would have drastically increased there manpower. Those two outcomes would have tipped the war in the favor of the axis and enabled them to win against the soviets and pretty much the war.
