If Hitler treated the slavs properly, partisan resistance would have been smaller which would have freed up divisions for the front. Also, many slavs would have fought for them which would have drastically increased there manpower. Those two outcomes would have tipped the war in the favor of the axis and enabled them to win against the soviets and pretty much the war.
Sounds false.
Nobody is denying that slavs served in the german military. The fact is that the germans could have gotten a lot more support from the Slavs if they treated them properly. They were literally celebrated as liberators when they first entered Ukraine and would have gotten many more troops with less partisan resistance if they treated the slavs correctly without killing them.This in turn would have massively helped the germans conquer the soviets and win the war. Nothing better than turning your enemies' own people against them to win a war.
13.7 million civilians died from the invasion of the USSR. You cannot find a single source that says the Nazis didn't kill the slavs enmasse or weren't seen as liberators' at first by Ukrainians, and then ukranian orgnaizations like the OUN and ONU turned against them when the nazis started torturing/killing slavs.
If the nazis actually established a ukranian state and supported slavic independence from the union, the nazis would have won the war.
