Thanks fren. Note that "solid dome" is not the Biblical text but something read into it much later. Note also that the word "water" is defined in the passage as very generic, as something from which land appears (i.e. it means "nonsolid"). Therefore the account is actually consistent with quark-gluon plasma theory of origin, and in fact there are no inconsistencies between Gen. 1:1-5 and Big Bang Theory.
Since Gen. 3-4 indicates that Yahweh got animal skins for Adam and Eve from somewhere, it's clear that the idea of sacrifice is his own and the demonic version is just the counterfeit. The reasons for this are well-explored in theology. If animal sacrifice offends you as a modern, you might want to become a vegan because bacon burgers are the same thing.
It is true, that the bible mostly gives the view, that earth is flat. But it can also be, that whoever wrote the bible, wanted to make people believe this, although is is a fake.
To me, it does not matter anymore, be it whatever it is.

a) SAC'RIFICE, verb - "to devote (life) with loss (inception towards death)" aka ones sacrificial rite of passage.
b) Only during sacrifice can ideas be shaped.
Suggestion (information) pretends to be (counterfeit) perception (inspiration).
a) Only within fluid (inception towards death) can there be solid (life)
b) Defined aka definite (affixed) contradicts generic (fluid).
c) Natural L(and) A(ir) W(ater) implies fluid nature differentiating solids.
d) Water above (fluid) generates waters below (solid).
Then there is the issue of Esoteric vs literal interpretations which is a higher level discussion.
True.
Flerfers seem to think everything is literal and don't understand symbolism and poetic metaphor.
So they will continue to keep stepping on rakes while chasing that ever elusive solid dome of theirs. 😏
Did these ancient writers understand the natural water cycle which caused rain to fall from the sky?
Or did they just assume there must be some massive body of water somewhere up in the sky that periodically leaked and dripped on their heads? 🤔

a) Let it (motion) divide the waters (fluid momentum) from the waters (solid matter).
b) A firmament in the midst aka mind formed as center (ones perception) of surrounding (all perceivable).
Only within firm/form a ment/mind/memory can one shape questions.
Because ejecting from an airplane as a copilot is such a respectful thing to do...
