Then there is the issue of Esoteric vs literal interpretations which is a higher level discussion.

True.

Flerfers seem to think everything is literal and don't understand symbolism and poetic metaphor.

So they will continue to keep stepping on rakes while chasing that ever elusive solid dome of theirs. 😏
