It would have been nice to see the actual pictures of the lighthouses at that distance. It also depends what vessel you're observing them from - if it's a cargo ship deck you're up 20m above sea level.

But here's my defeater: if the Earth was flat why do ships have crows nests up on the mast? Wouldn't people be able to see at the same distance from the deck? Were all shipbuilders in on the conspiracy for the past thousand plus years?

With a flat Earth --- you wouldn't need towers.

Why do we need towers?

You can do the calculation or use a curve calculator and it will show you that most lighthouses would be behind the curve even 20 meters above sea level. The globe religion is dying fast.

Ok but how do I verify they are visible? I can't go to open see to do that.

See the edit.

Getting up high will allow you to see farther on a flat plane, that is why they have crow's nests. Not to see over some imaginary curve.

If you really want to know how vision and perspective work then watch this. It's intense.

That doesn't make sense. On a flat plane there's nothing below horizon no matter where you stand - you'll just get a different perspective of the objects, but if there are no obstacles and clouding you'll be able to see the shore even if you're in the middle of the ocean (provided there is no fog and waves which seems impossible).

You do not understand angular resolution of vision. This is by design, so you would not be able to grasp the reality you live in and remain easy to deceive.

I don't understand basic geometry in a 3D world by design? Gtfo. I can build the abstract model of what we're talking about and examine it in my mind. I don't even need a program to simulate this, it's that simple.

I reject evo theory, materialism and much of the fake and gay mainstream cosmology, science and history narratives, yet not falling for the Flat Earth psy op, which can be disproved a 1000 ways means I'm easily deceived? You are in a cult, sir.

It is not basic, if you were never shown you will not know. Your imagining something in your mind when you do not understand how perspective works will not help you.

If you are too lazy to watch the video which explains and proves what I am talking about and continue to hammer on about how you know everything we can end this exchange.

The globe is the psyop.

For the curve to be that pronounced, the boat would be an eighth of the way around the world.

Pretty sure lighthouse can't see that far, so this actually just proves that the Earth is curved.

Magical mindbending. Lol.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=968gVUAY9Mg

You might want to watch this to understand how the "magic" works. Does this explain gravity? No. But it does explain that light is not a magic thing and that it obeys the laws of physics.

He then uses sugar water or something to create a super dense liquid that will cause the water to curve at certain angles. Kinda of the same way how light "Bends" around a glass, or through a fiberoptic cable. *Woops, hes using some kinda of special container or something. The sugar water was this one.

Magic mind bending lol, like come on.

Anyway, this experiment can be tried at home and does show the effect of gravity on a laser beam, although its effect is so small its hard to observe unless your at long distances. But then you start dealing with refraction and of course that skews things. Your not gonna measure a flat earth or a globe earth with a laser because of this.

And this is why they had lasers on rails and in vacuums to build the particle accelerators. Since they are massive.

I dont have the money to do stuff like this anymore, god I miss having a full time job. Im just waiting around to die at this point.

If you got the time and money, why not give it a try and let us know the results?

Also I wish I could believe in god.

I just finished sweet tooth and while I seen no one else pointing it out. I am fairly certain the main character of the show was supposed to be representative of jesus.

https://www.beliefnet.com/columnists/dreamgates/2011/03/the-deer-the-christ-and-the-magnetism-of-symbols.html

Studying religious iconography in France in 2005, I became fascinated by the moment in the history of the Western imagination when the old pagan image of the Antlered One fused with that of the Christ. You can view the results on the facade of the great Gothic church of St-Eustache at Les Halles, once the site of the famous market. Look up and near the top, lording it over the gargoyles, you’ll find the figure of an antlered stag with the Calvary cross between his antlers. According to legend, St. Eustace (to give him the Anglo version of his name) was formerly a pagan Roman general named Placidus, who reveled in the hunt until one day he confronted a magnificent stag through whose deep eyes the Christ light shone. Christ spoke to him through the deer. The general gave up hunting and converted to the new religion.

Feels weird to be the only one who gets this.

a) BEND; verb - "to direct to a certain point" implies being (life) directed (inception towards death) to a certain point.

b) Bending in terms of inflection (turn from a direct line) implies ignoring line (perceivable) for turn (suggested).

Consenting to suggested TURNS into a conflict of reason aka circular reasoning aka ouroboros.
