It's just more satanic subversion like the #Jesus washed feet bs. They will push the fake image of cool hippy-jesus and a false gospel like they did for the last 100 years. Nothing to do with real Christianity and our true Lord.
That's not a Christian line of reasoning but I see it could makes sense to pragmatic thinking people. God is the standard for everything that exists, meaning that He cannot be unconventional. He's entirely conventional but we can't know His ways with our earthly limitations. He transcends human wisdom entirely:
"For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”;"
I would say no but here's why, it's sensational, it's interesting and easily captures you, which is why when they mess with the content it's so painful. When I see the apostles and Jesus, I don't want it mired by Hollywood, oh but it's crowd funding it's not Hollywood -they are no better than anyone else if you still add or take away from God's words and I'm of the opinion, that's happened here.
I would say yes. But if you ever think that this is a substitute for Scripture, then no.
Yes, most of what you see in the Chosen is extrabiblical. But any time you listen to a preacher, everything that he says that is not a direct Bible quote, is also extrabiblical.
This is why we need to follow the pattern of the Bereans, who listened to everything that they heard Paul say, and examined the Scriptures daily to see if what he was saying was true.
If you do not have a solid foundation built on God's Word, then you will be blown here and there by the wind. Fill your heart and mind with God's Word, and then fill it some more. Memorize it and let it transform your life -- THEN OBEY, not being hearers only.
Then go see anything you want to and use discernment.
I personally love the Chosen. I've been studying God's Word for 40 years and find that this series has given me some insights and nuances that I did not pick before. Most notably, how the disciples would have struggled with Jesus calling a tax collector (Matthew) into their number, and how there would very likely be residual suspicion and animosity toward one who would have been the most hated among the people.
Oh, that clinches it. Now I can be confident that it’s contents aren’t Biblical.

He does, but he tells those sinners, "go and sin no more", not "do as thou wilt".
People need to wake up, and realize that the luciferian pedo elite bums hate Jesus Christ with a passion.
Anti-God forces will always be blaspheming against the Holy Spirit.
I think the Chosen gets it wrong. I find it extremely distasteful.
I was thinking of checking it out. Should I even bother?

The Chosen is blasphemous trash.
2c violation. Don’t watch this nonsense
