The stick test is the one our ancestors used. Sure I can buy the greeks did it since they invented algebra and calculus, or the beginnings of it anyway.
But the native americans, maybe I am just a yuppy buying into native americans werent that advanced stereotype, shrugs. Its not that I dont think these people could do it, but to build things like the great pyramid or some of the astronomical sites in north/south america. Just seems like they skipped all the hard parts and someone just gave them the answer lol. Whoever created the horoscope must have had some kind of advanced mathematical knowledge, if not knowledge of the solar system itself.
Conduct a stick test
If you stick a stick in the (sticky) ground, it will produce a shadow. The shadow moves as time passes (which is the principle for ancient Shadow Clocks). If the world had been flat, then two sticks in different locations would produce the same shadow.
But they don’t. This, again, is because the Earth is round, and not flat.
Eratosthenes (276-194 BCE) used this principle to calculate the circumference of the Earth quite accurately. To see this demonstrated, refer to my experiment video about Eratosthenes and the circumference of the Earth.
This one kinda makes sense, but again ive said before, perhaps the world is flat, but due to the curvature of space and time, it just looks round or something.
Climb a hill or mountain
Standing on a flat plateau, you look ahead toward the horizon. You strain your eyes, then take out your favorite binoculars and stare through them, as far as your eyes (with the help of the binocular lenses) can see.
Next, climb up the closest tree—the higher the better, just be careful not to drop those binoculars and break their lenses. Then look again, strain your eyes, and stare through the binoculars out to the horizon.
The higher up you climb, the farther you will see. Usually, we tend to relate this to Earthly obstacles—like the fact we have houses or other trees obstructing our vision on the ground, and climbing upwards we have a clear view—but that’s not the true reason. Even if you stood on a completely clear plateau with no obstacles between you and the horizon, you would see much farther from the greater height than you would on the ground.
This phenomenon is caused by the curvature of the Earth as well, and would not happen if the Earth was flat:
This is much similar to the "see the sunset twice" trick, which I dont know how would be possible if the earth were completely flat.
Just the few I can think of off the top of my head.
It's not a story, it'd a test proving the Earth spins. If the Earth didn't spin, the arc of the pendulum wouldn't rotate, duh.
To be fair, this experiment doesn't prove the Earth is a globe and a spinning disc Earth would do the same, except that the arc would still rotate at the equator because.
But if definitely proves that the Earth spins and it's been reviewed (and recreated; the more important consideration) thousands of times, which is what your meme is asking.
No, youre wrong. The pendulum is a carnival trick. Hope you got your money's worth. Anyone who has tried it themselves knows its a joke. Only people like you who read a book and believe a story fall for it. No one else.
but again ive said before, perhaps the world is flat, but due to the curvature of space and time, it just looks round or something.
Maybe I'm just nitpicking about language, but I find it strange that the phrase "plane(s) of existence" is commonly used, especially among occultists.
Doesn't plane imply being flat or level? There's oodles of other words that could work in that phrase-domain, realm, region, etc
Even the Oxford dictionary has the second definition as "a level of existence, thought, or development."
Just an interesting word choice.
Whoever created the horoscope must have had some kind of advanced mathematical knowledge, if not knowledge of the solar system itself.
Yeah, I'd agree. It is really intricate...like I can't imagine how that really went down.
If you do a natal chart online, it seems like nothing. But it's like impossible to imagine doing it with like a mediocre telescope and an abacus or some shit. Not only that, but then figuring out how that "affects" things (if it really does).
PEER, noun (Latin par) - "an equal; one of the same"
Being implies as one different from one another. A being cannot be equal to another being, since each came to be at a different position from one another.
Appear implies perceivable differences; "a peer" implies suggested semblance.
The first one i am aware of is the, so called, gyro[spin]-scope[viewer].
The more scientific / "peer reviewed" procedure is known as the michelson gale pearson "experiment".
More modern examples include other types of accelerometers like the mems and the gyrocompass.
The reason this is a trick question is that the michelson gale pearson observation is an aether measurement. It measures the perturbance of the aether, but it cannot discern the cause. As in astronomy/cosmology, it is equally valid to conclude that the earth is spinning and the aether is stationary as it is the reverse, or some combination of both's motion.
Airy's failure shows that it is, in fact, not the earth which moves - but the aether above us (the rotation of the sky).
Aside - there is no reason why the world can't rotate AND not be spherical... People only conflate the two due to their mythological predispositions.
What do we mean by "peer reviewed".
Do you mean like, experiments that anyone can try?
Top one that comes to mind, Foucault's pendulum.

Got it!! You got stories.

What a joker

Beat me to it, lol
An interesting side note:
Google has scrubbed all mention of "black people and smoke detectors" because the powers that be don't want those ideas spreading.
If I search "spinning Earth experiment", there are literally hundreds of sites claiming that the Earth is flat.
If TPTB don't want people to hear about FE, they're doing an uncharacteristically shitty job.
Ones response (re) to view the suggestions of ones equal (peer); which implies ones ignorance of sight within perceivable differentiation.
If one sees something; then that implies a differentiation between some-thing and one-thing. Equals cannot exist within differentiation.
Being implies as one different from one another. A being cannot be equal to another being, since each came to be at a different position from one another.
Appear implies perceivable differences; "a peer" implies suggested semblance.
Yeah, me neither! I'm writing this from the ISS orbiting the planet though...
No your not.
Oh darn. You caught my lie. I'm really on the moon, watching the Earth in the sky rotating.
How to tell everyone that you don't know how scientific work is done.
Congratulations for exposing your ignorance.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡💯
That shill thinks he's a scientist or something. LOL
Lol look at his comments. It's just a bot.
With the mod's approval, of course. That's why I don't frequent here any more. He's more directly antagonistic than most mods on Reddit LOL.

I think you may have misread my comment.
I am of the view that the earth is not rotating - the sky is.
Unlike me, jesuits are all in on cosmology, having made most of it up (from the fiction of "outer space" to the fiction of "the big bang")
Nope.
Earth is stationary and not a globe.
The sun and moon move over our plane. Polaris never moves, ever.
I SEEN IT!
Well, if there is a pole flip, that is supposed to change to Vega or some shit like that.
Magnetic north is pretty funky so who knows?
Not me LOL.
a) PO'LARIZE, verb -"to communicate polarity to"...how does communication over distance (all perceivable towards ones perception) work without motion?
b) Notice that "never" contradicts "ever"...
Go away, kike.
