they can hike it to 1000, my wallet won't be affected. AAA games have be complete garbage for at least 4 years, 12 if your tolerance for jank is lower than mine.
It never recovered because there was no intent to recover it. Loosh harvesting keeps them alive. And afloat. This is spiritual like everything else so it only gets worse and worse.
An actual game has game play. Not reward systems. Experince is not a number that just gives you things. Experience is an actual skill sets that you posses outside of the game. You are rewarded in actual games by being good at game play. Not arbitrary numbers in a spread sheet.
Maybe do something important with your lives instead of wasting weeks, months, some even years of life, playing pointless games. Read books, get smarter, start a side hustle, spend time with family.
They already are in canada. For starfield with tax it came to 120$ and I bought the basic version. Wasnt paying a extra 30-50 so I could play it 5 days earlier, lol that was a good decision. I guess a better one would have been not buying it.
They been wanting to do this for years now and most normies defend it by saying nes, super nintendo games cost just as much with inflation factored in.
Meh most games were heavily discounted after a few months. And of course back then we could trade our games in when we were done. It was a rip off but it helped a poor kid like me get to play quite a few titles.
I am hoping that when this shit happens we will see open source and community made games explode in popularity.
As others struggled to pay for games; I loaned my Neo Geo out to arcades for premium rates...got like two $350-$500 games a month plus enough spare change for the plebian entertainment isles.
I don't see why this is really an issue. Video games have a declining price scale over time so it falls upon the consumer to purchase the game at the price of their choosing. (59.00 then 39.99 then 19.99....). I personally wouldnt pay more than 19 99 for a game. Hike the price all you want, it just means the same price curve will exist just over a longer time period

I'm 100% sure they were since the switch turned on in 2012 or 2016 like everything else.

Tis' a good time to be a pirate..
Tis' a good time to play indie games.
Activision literally makes billions every year releasing the same game
Well, SOMEBODY has to pay for the CEO's Lambo.
The only game an adult male needs is a 25 year old copy of Age of Empires 2.

Well, don't buy them if you think that they are too expensive.
What's with this gamer bullshit? Who cares?
Isn't this odd....
