Oil rich countries tend to be net grain importers. France has traded grain for oil for decades for example
I believe our biggest wheat export is to Mexico. China buys a lot of soy beans from us, but not nearly as much this year as in the past
US is net exporter of grain worth idk maybe $60B/yr net which does help especially of things go towards protectionism

Brics is dependent on Fiat. Price of gold currency is only as valuable as the next strongest currency that gold is priced at. Fiat will be fine
