In the 90's Denver international airport moved out on the plains more. Micro climates are a big deal around Denver. It's new location will show hotter in the summer and cooler in the winter. I've seen temps at the old Stapleton location 14 below and DIA at 42 with howling winds (and higher elevation, cold air settles in low areas). The winds warm the air. I've also seen temps in the 60's along the foothills in the winter and under 20 in the city just 10 miles away. BTW, it feels better in the cold with no wind when the sun is out
The weather station that reports conditions in my area on wunderground is either rigged or seriously broken. Less than a week ago when every other station was reporting temps in the 60's, wunderground reported 90. Frequently in the summer when other stations report in the 90's, this one reports 120+. One time it reported over 200 degrees.
I'm nearly certain that the data from that station is used in climate models.

Like true deceptionists, they often crop out the beginning of the chart and end of the chart to show only a zoomed in depiction of an incline (upward slope) in temperature.
The people who actually are interfering in climate change are the government. They are the ones who actually spend billions on weather modification each year and government bulldozes land and sets forests on fire in "controlled burnings" and murders millions of chickens and livestock each year. No one is more harmful to the environment than the USA government. They are the ones who are guilty.

The weather people actually had more equipment in the past that was left alone for decades in rural areas.
Those stations were 'fixed' to show warming in the data series and then eventually removed.
The number of stations in the US has fallen by something like 60-70% since the 90s.
