This reminds me of the modern day parable of the flood waters rising. The police called out to evacuate because the waters were rising and the guy says "the Lord will save me". As the water arose, a boat came by to get people and he said again "The Lord will save me". The water level increased as He was then standing on his roof and a helicopter came to him and he said "I'm waiting on the Lord, he will save me". The man drowned and told God, "I trusted you! Why didn't you save me?" God replied"I sent the police, a boat and a helicopter"
In a similar fashion, many said "don't get the shot, we have no idea what is going to happen". Others still predicted this outcome. Very few people listened. Sadly, it's too late for many.

I advised a few unproductive coworkers to get the shot. I'm probably not going to heaven.
It's never too late to be a good person. If you end up doing more good than the bad you've done.... I mean hey it's worth trying.
You could be right. Maybe I was, separating the wheat from the chaff.
Not your job.
Kek.
Poignant post and well worded.
Reminds me of the boy who cried wolf.
