I personally have no issue accepting the possibility of a micronova event that occurs on the planet, there is a decent amount of possible evidence to consider.
However, it is not global scale generally, If the event is to possibly happen every 12k or so years, this shows that generally it is low key and only some cases a sever large scale, often just a slice of the planet.
I do not accept that there is a group of people on the planet that can predict this with any degree of certainty. Guess work at best.
