Gyna shared a book with me that I just finished listening to regarding demographic collapse. It was a really good book. I would like to ask the author to recalculate all of his forecasts based on a population decline of 70% worldwide over the next 5 years and see what he thinks would happen.
At the end of the book, he claimed he had no answers to avoid the coming collapse. I wonder if a mass culling is the response from the people running the show. I'm not sure how that would change the nature of the collapse in the short term, but resources would no longer be a problem. With a greatly diminished world population it would also be much easier to assert control for a global government.
This is my own half baked theory. It could be the elites know an asteroid is headed here and impact is not enough to wipe out the world but big enough to cause society to collapse. They want to cull everyone beforehand as it means less competition for resources after impact. And it survive chaos before impact when the news gets out.
These elites are fixated on 2030 for some reason and one would think they could push back their plans, but maybe they have a hard deadline.
There is an asteroid Apophis that is said to fly by close in 2029. But if it were to hit it would cause a lot of damage.
Land and housing is incredibly cheap in rural towns that are turning into ghost towns one death at a time. There are no jobs or resources there so everyone further squeezes into mega cities causing them to get more expensive.
They have the same problem of women not wanting to have kids, or can't afford them, as well as the focus on your career not being mother problem, as well all the unnatural chemicals and vaccines that we have to deal with that hurt the fertility of those who want kids. Most prominent in Japan because they aren't importing their replacements.

I know they just removed all restrictions on children, and they currently have a 25,000,000 strong army of men who physically cannot ever have a (Chinese) wife, thanks to those policies (and therefore will never breed), but without seeing the population actually decrease already, I don’t think we can project any population losses for them, never mind 750,000,000 magically disappearing.
And yes, there are almost certainly over 350,000,000 in the US thanks to illegals not being counted for decades.
