Here's a video on the subject.

I'll try to be the flat earther this time:

You're seeing a skewed picture. The stars are moving linearly, but because your eyeballs are round they are interpreting the image in polar coordinates. Quit being a dumb bigot who can't even understand how the earth is. I'm blocking you. #StandWithUkraine🇺🇦

a ticket out of

Living within the process of dying implies the struggle to sustain self...only a merchant of temptation would try to sell "a ticket out of".

math

a) how does perceivable nature communicate "zero" (0) from whole (process of dying) to partial (living)?

b) does perceivable nature inspire the perceiving senses to count, or do other "ones" tempt "one" to count? https://pic8.co/sh/1rIGYa.jpg

subjects of study...understanding

a) if the objectifying process of dying subjects everything living within; then what's the implication of a subject choosing to subject itself by "standing under" (understanding) the suggested studies of other subjects, instead of adapting to the perceivable origin of objectification?

b) what if instead of understanding suggested information; one could grow comprehension within perceivable inspiration?

c) what if impressing (perceivable) to compressing (comprehension) for expression (growth) can be repressed (loss) with accumulation (suggested)?

how and why things appear the way they do

How (motion)

Why (sustenance)

Way (inception towards death)

Things (temporary partial within ongoing whole)

Appear (perceiving partial transmutes at the center of perceivable whole).

Wether we do or not will not be determined by studying the opposite direction of it :(

Besides, the circular star trails around a central point are supposedly caused by the rotation of the world - not its sphericity.

Except the point of rotation moves depending on where you’re standing, you fucking propagandist.

Huh?

What is the “point of rotation” that you think moves as you do?

Obviously the point of rotation remain the same, and your vantage to it changes depending on your position. There are certainly places on earth where you can’t see it, for instance.

Wether flat or spherical, the rotation (and center of that ostensible rotation) is constant regardless of where you are - right?

Everything you don’t agree with isn’t automatically propaganda - don’t be silly.

Fucking wrong.

Fucking wrong.

In what way?

The point of rotation doesn’t differ as you move. It stays exactly where it was - even if there are 2 of them in the sky.

My bad, I misread that. If earth is flat, then there's only one point of rotation in the night sky. Since the earth IS a rotating spheroid, we would expect 2. Northern and Southern points of rotation. https://earthsky.org/tonight/sirius-future-south-pole-star/ This is evident when looking at amateur astronomer timelapse videos from both hemispheres.

I don’t.

“Except the point of rotation moves depending on where you’re standing” - you.

Except it’s not flat.

Perhaps. How can we best measure that to validate it for ourselves?

No one said this. Reply to what was said

“you fucking propagandist.” - you

I suppose you believe airplanes don’t exist, otherwise I would have you bound and gagged and put on an airplane flying from north to south to watch as Polaris falls to the horizon.

Perhaps

Nope.

. How can we best measure that to validate it for ourselves?

Rudimentary geometry.

you fucking propagandist

Yes, and? Stop lying and you’ll stop being called out.

I suppose you believe airplanes don’t exist

Why would you suppose something so silly?

The point of rotation doesn’t move - you do (wether on an airplane or by foot).

Rudimentary geometry

Care to elaborate? Do you know of anything else that is measured (as opposed to calculated) with geometry?

Stop lying

Everything you don’t agree with isn’t automatically propaganda a lie.

The point of rotation doesn’t move

Exactly, and since a flat earth would see the point never become invisible, and since in reality it does, your psychosis is clearly paid shilling.

care to elaborate

Yep.

everything you don’t agree with

Truth isn’t a matter of agreement, paid shill.

flat earth model accounts for star rotation around central point at northern latitudes.
haven't seen the explanation in that model for similar rotation around central point at southern latitudes.

People who believe the earth is flat have never taken a fuckin plane trip before.

permalink save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼

Every successful PLANE ride that you, and everyone, has ever taken, has followed this sequence: taxi along level ground, incline to ascend, level for the whole ride (turbulence not withstanding), decline to descend, taxi to stop. It’s flat.

I've literally flown around the world multiple times. Get back to me after your trip.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– moonbaked 3 points 131 days ago +3 / -0

So have I. And each time, the plane inclined, leveled off for the entire trip, until it declined to land. You went around the world - a world that IS a flat stationary plane. The North Pole is at the centre, you went ‘around’ that, in a circle. But you have never flown ‘around’ a sphere.

Oh, you have poor comprehension skills. I have already said I have. Did a 3 hour flight last night. Longest I’ve done was 18 hours. Every time the same: incline, LEVEL, decline.

Try this. Keep flying east and tell me if you eventually end up back where you started.

Yes, you do. Because you go in a circle - around the north poke which is the centre of our flat plane.
