As for the "covering", the only thing that threw me off was the color, as I had thought they were all black> But no, they come in every color of the rainbow. Given that paramedics don't pronounce death, I think they would only load a very, very obviously dead person (or parts thereof) in a body bag. All the reports are she died in the hospital after some time.

Of course. Why would anyone think there would be an ambulance available in Los Angeles County, with a population of only (at least) 10 million people.
