REPOST comment:

The signs were there last fall if you knew what to look for.

https://media.zenfs.com/en/bloomberg_markets_842/7b8880a3e5240a59985c9b9afb5a2166

China placed a hold on their potash fertilizer exports in August 2021 until the end of June 2022 which started driving up the prize of all fertilizers last fall. China's exports supplied roughly 20%+ of the global fertilizer market.

On top of this you now have Biden placing sanctions on Russia. Russia and Belarus have responded by reducing fertilizer exports until the end of 2022.

Russia and Belarus together make up around 40% of global fertilizer exports in 2021

Urea nitrogen based fertilizer is derived from natural gas (methane).

Biden's energy policies are effectively the goals of WEF Agenda 2030 which seeks to reduce production and usage of all fossil fuels

Less liquid natural gas (LNG) production = less global LNG supply = higher natural gas prices = higher costs for nitrogen fertilizer

This will result in lower crop yields and higher food prices globally. It will likely push small farmers into bankruptcy and lead to famine. Besides destruction of the middle class, consolidation of wealth, land, and other physical assets, WEF agenda 2030 could also be part of a depopulation agenda, but that's not stated publicly.

Every single person should be planting victory gardens and composters this year.

The Canadian government is already destroying potato crops in the maritimes so potatoes are probably a good idea.

If you don't have land, dig up your local parks.

digging up our local parks will put us in jail. Any other idea?

Do it somewhere it won't be noticed. I'm never gonna be able to have land, so it's pretty much my only option

I think I'll be eating from nature or the seas if shortages ever happen. I'm likely gonna have to understand my community dynamic which is something that I've purposefully avoided for reasons of shame. I'll go to the farthest reaches of the north and eat naturally. While people head south or fight for scraps of the former world.

To me, in the dense woods of chaotic north where only the intelligent and strong may survive. It's the last flight and attempt of humanity.

It's all about contingency plans isn't it? Me starving in 3 weeks is highly unlikely. I'm sure you've seen the show naked and afraid and that's exactly what they do. I however have other intentions.

I thought that's what you're doing. I guess it depends on your willingness to survive doesn't it. 3 weeks and plenty of people on that show are starving, however, they're not well equipped.

And good luck with being controlled. Maybe you enjoy a bit of masochism or perhaps you're the sadistic middle man. Doesn't matter to me. I want to be free from people like you.

Outstanding post. But I think they're hiding where demand-and therefore prices-are really skyrocketing: ze bugs.

I don't think these numbers are accurate. At least not in my area it definitely won't be. 70% laughable. Not sustained for sure. Meat fluctuates alot anyways. I will pay 25% regardless but that has nothing to do with feed. And why 70% that's ludicrous.

1% shortfall in grain yields and we get a 70% boost? Bs. Show the rationale

Wheat, corn, and soybeans are used in feed.

These crops are directly effected by the rise in fertilizer prices which jumped four to five times in price since the China export ban last August.Food prices you see today do not yet reflect the fertilizer export ban by Russia and Belarus.

Two things happen when fertilizer shortages happen, you have reduced crop yields and food prices go up.

There is also the war in Ukraine. Ukraine supplies around 30% of global wheat exports to the entire world.

It's a lot more complicated then you might believe. You will see these prices jump in the coming months.

Shortages affect imports and exports which can temporarily inflate prices. All those numbers are not fully accurate and generalizations make for a more sticky situation. This is part of the fear mongering campaign design to panic buy and cause shortage....

Ukraine does not supply world 30% maybe surplus...but not foundational for most. They supply themselves first like all countries....we have wheat here...we sell it lol.

Maybe Europe will be in for a problem. Fertilizer....Canada has it.

Ukraine is 7th in the world.....below USA and Canada....again...it's fear mongering. Badly done....just like the usual bad propaganda on here...fucksakes..

20%

"skyrocket"

Oh noes. A pound of meat will cost a couple of cents more. This will lead to a famine because all that people eat is meat!
