80% of China's National Debt is denominated in USD. This means that the CCP wants the USD to hyperinflate, as the $1.7 trillion debt they owe would be much easier to pay (saidit.net)

Yeah, plus you can just ram through “infrastructure” bills that literally, on paper, send billions of dollars to China

Already sending Israel billions each year, so why not also China?

Does Russia need any money?

I heard that if you declare, are as seen as Taliban, you will get military grade weapons and hardware for free. Leave the country and sneak back in declaring yourself as needing refuge and you might get some taxpayer money as a handout. Though, I've not tried any of these yet myself.

Is this assertion backwards? Repayment of $1.7T will be more impactful the stronger the $ is. A hyperinflating currency loses its power, so being repaid 1.7 trillion Nothings is worse than collecting 1% interest on 1.7 trillion World Standard Of Currency's.

China's debt, meaning China owes money to US in USD. Inflating the currency effectively deflates the debt

I see. I didn't examine the chart closely enough, I had assumed this was talking about China buying US bonds.

The us owes China significantly more than that though, so the logic doesn’t work well both directions

This ignore the fact that the US dollar is the world reserve currency.

Any changes to the USD will affect all currencies.

But then U.S. can default on them if she chooses to.
