Immunity doesn't (freedom from obligation); Virus does (poison); but it requires a vector (consent to ignore natural obligations for suggested vaccines for example).

Meanwhile...free-dom implies free and dominance in balance with each other as natural opposites, which is why "free" will of choice reacts to "dom"-inance of balance.
