IMMU'NITY, noun [Latin immuinitas, from immunis, free, exempt; in and munus, charge, office, duty.] - "freedom or exemption from obligation".

Meanwhile...free-dom implies free and dominance in balance with each other as natural opposites, which is why "free" will of choice reacts to "dom"-inance of balance.
