Maybe one day the general public will wake up to all the lies that have been pushed on them. but i have my doubts

Afks 7 points ago +7 / -0

It’s happening right now

Just takes time

(((They))) literally own everything, nevertheless, the Truth is coming

wtfppl 1 point ago +1 / -0

The truth.

There are so many.

Which do you stay mad at?

How to get everyone on that page for more than two weeks?

Do the people that caused the problem care that you know?

Do you have the sacrific it takes to account the truth?

Is it personal, or selfless?

Afks 1 point ago +1 / -0

Who’s mad?

I’m not convinced Truth requires sacrifice, or I at least don’t understand what you mean

Personal for me and by having discussions and trying to shed some Light on the Truth it becomes selfless

I feel like I missed the point of your message

Hiromant 5 points ago +8 / -3

I hate when these guys get so much right but then turn out to be flat earthers.

alltheleavesarebrown 2 points ago +6 / -4

Look at the official earth curvature formula.

Does it match what you see?

have you ever seen bulidings or natural objects tilting backwards at the horizon?

do railroad tracks actually converge at a distant vanishing point or perhaps our eyes dont see 100% "reality"?

Hiromant 5 points ago +6 / -1

Have you ever experienced seasons? What about the horizon? What about time zones? What about tides? What about polar night or the midnight sun? Have you noticed how the peak sun angle gets lower as you go further from the equator, resulting in colder climates? Have you noticed how the angle at which the sun sets gets shallower as you get further from the equator until at the poles it's completely horizontal and it just circles around in the sky for half a year?

Yeah, all of those things are impossible on a flat earth and easily explained and predicted on a round one. Flat earth theory is living proof of the Dunning-Kruger effect, nothing more.

Allas8 [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

Here is a short animation on how the sun moves across our sky.

Hiromant -1 points ago +1 / -2

And that, my friend, is completely retarded. No offense but flat earthers really should have paid more attention in middle school.

Here's an experiment: take a candle and a sheet of paper. Go into a dark room, close the door and light the candle. Move the candle around above the sheet of paper so that about half of it is brightly lit and half of it is completely dark. That should be a long, fun and puzzling evening for all flat earthers.

Allas8 [S] 3 points ago +4 / -1

My friend, the earth is much much bigger than the sun, it is like asking a candle to light up a piece of paper the size of the house. Also light only travel so far before it gets obscured by darkness. Place a candle on a football field during night time, how far away do you need to go before your eyes are not able to detect the light from the candle anymore?

Hiromant 1 point ago +2 / -1

You can still see the candle light from every point of the football field. It also never dips below ground level which in reality it clearly does every night. And while it's dipping below the horizon at one point, it's high in the sky in another. Impossible on a flat surface. I honestly don't get how grownups don't see the myriad of glaring problems with this theory.

Allas8 [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

The sun does not dip below the horizon. Get a high zoom camera and you can bring it back into view.

It appears below the horizon as that is how perspective works.

SpicyCoof 0 points ago +2 / -2

It's hard for you to grasp these concepts because you've been indoctrinated since birth to believe the globe model.

Every single person who is into flat earth was once a hardcore Nasa dick sucking fan boy. They are not ignorant to flat or globe models. They know much more than the typical "Hurr durr you dumb flat earther" people.

deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
sumtingwongbruh 1 point ago +1 / -0

how far away is the horizon ?

its not a gotcha I was just wondering and you seemed quite knowledgeable.

TheAwakened 2 points ago +3 / -1

I cant do the math or geometry and shit to determine whether earth is ball or pizza, and tbh both sides has convincing arguments, so Im just not gonna fully prescribe to anything until I see with my own eyes

But the 'hurr durr if earth is flat why cant you see the other side of the planet with ur eyes???' Is just such a fucking weak argument

Horizon extends until you cant see anymore, or if something pops up that obstructs the view

I work on boat on ocean everyday

If I look towards horizon I can see a lot further with binoculars than with my eyes.

For example: last week I look at my map, and see ship is coming towards me far away. I cant see it with my eyes yet, but I can see the horizon. Then use binoculars and can see the ship, suddenly horizon is lots further away

And the 'hurrdurr u see curvature in planes'

Yeah well the windows are all fishlensed afaik. I've been all over the world and have never taken plane wothout fish eyed windows.

Now I see many round earthers do the 'hahah fisheyed lense conspiracy hahaha', and it makes me think: have these people never seen a picture with fishlens used and without fish lense side by side? Because one pic will have curvature and one will not...

alltheleavesarebrown 1 point ago +1 / -0

As far as the eye or camera lens can see????

sumtingwongbruh 1 point ago +1 / -0

I was asking Hiromant how far away the horizom is physically because it was on his long list of things but he never mentioned the official distance.

Hiromant 1 point ago +1 / -0

That depends on the height of the viewpoint. For a normal person at sea level it's around 5 km if I remember correctly.

sumtingwongbruh 1 point ago +1 / -0

that doesnt sound right as I can see a lot further than that along the coast ( tide line to tide line on the beach )

Are you sure that number is correct ?

alltheleavesarebrown 1 point ago +1 / -0

Perceived distance varies depending on weather conditions. Height of viewer. This is the official formula. Plug in your own numbers.

Afks 0 points ago +1 / -1

Not impossible and all of those points are covered

You just haven’t considered it properly

Stop being condescending in your messages, genius

Afks 0 points ago +1 / -1

“If you sort points like you made into three baskets

Globe only Flat only Globe of flat model

You’ll find that nothing goes in the globe only pile” - David Weiss

ghost_of_aswartz 1 point ago +2 / -1

The problem with these arguments is one of scale

you'd have to have parallax separation of a mile to see object so far that are tilted back. meaning, you'd have to have eyes 10,000x bigger that are separated by a mile. You'd have to be a giant.

alltheleavesarebrown 2 points ago +2 / -0

I asked several artists to replicate the view seen according to the official formula.

None could and one said it was the most difficult assignment he'd ever had.

It just does not match.

Don't feel bad. Took me at least a year to process this...

EmotionalSupportPup -1 points ago +1 / -2

You can do this literally any day a ship is out at sea. From shore.

TheAwakened 2 points ago +2 / -0

I work on the ocean

Last week I could not see a ship with my eyes that I spotted on map (it was far into horizon)

So because earth is round the ship will hide behind the 'dip' and in order for me to see it I would have to get higher up in the air

Well I just used binoculars and suddenly I could see it

So maybe I originally couldnt see it, not because of a curved earth but because our eyes cant see that far and perspective comes into play??

EmotionalSupportPup 1 point ago +1 / -0

Of course. When things are too far off, they become 'too small' to see. This and a ship dipping behind the horizon aren't mutually exclusive, but they also aren't the same thing. A ship can be behind the horizon partially. Looking at it through binocs doesn't magically cause it to 'resurface', if you will. As far as I'm aware, light doesn't curve around the earth in any meaningful way. (Earth's gravity has a miniscule effect on light's trajectory)

TheAwakened 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ahh. How far away would it have to be for curvature to play a role?

And whole sphered earth is held together by gravity, which AFAIK is still only a THEORY and havent actually been proved.

Newton says himself its a theory. He also invented a whole system of math to prove it. Which is sus AF. His theory basically starts like this: if the theory of gravity is correct, this math system that I invented proves it.

Now, I'm not saying gravity aint real, but AFAIK is still just a theory 300 years later

The part about is heating and cooling the lander is what gets me. We can barely keep a semi truck's sleeper cooled through the night with current battery tech, yet they claim they cooled a lunar lander from a 260 deg F environment and heated it from a -280 deg F environment, all with batteries. Oh, and the skin was paper thin metal to save weight, no thermal insulation.

Allas8 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Good people asking questions makes the people in power cover in fear. Their lies might get exposed. Their solution, cover up a lie with a new lie, in the end they do not even know where the lie end and the truth begins.

GrandeFormaggio 2 points ago +3 / -1

Space is totally fake in general, but big lies are hard to swallow. Brainwashed ego's are the most tender things on earth.

Allas8 [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

True. It takes some time to swallow, for some maybe even years. I used to believe in space too, now I am thankful that God has woken me up to the truth.

GrandeFormaggio 4 points ago +4 / -0

Same here, brother. If you let the Holy Spirit guide you, it will show you the path. keep the faith, as I believe we are in the endtimes.

Gaunt 0 points ago +2 / -2

What positive verifiable evidence do you have that your god exists?

ghost_of_aswartz 1 point ago +1 / -0

This is pretty damning

Esp the fact there was no rocket scortch crater

Also the fact that no matter how lightweight it was, it still had to achieve escape velocity to get back to the shuttle. Less gravity is not no gravity.

This last part is the part I have the biggest issue with

It wasn't pressurized...they were in their suits when they went down and up

it had to be lightweight, and so maybe it had to look like this.

The astronauts had to partially assemble it, not unlike a tent, from the shuttle, so it was kind of designed to be a piece of shit.

But since it's an ultralight tent, how in the hell did it get down safely, and more importantly how the hell did it get back up??

ghost_of_aswartz 2 points ago +2 / -0

if they really went down in this, it truly was a moonshot and these were the bravest people that ever lived ... because they had to have known this shit was foolish as f

some_crypto_guy 1 point ago +2 / -1

This video is a psyop.

They are trying to cover up the faked moon landing by associating it with the belief that the earth is flat, which is obvious bullshit.

This just in: the moon landing being fake doesn't mean the earth is flat.

Biostrike14 1 point ago +5 / -4

We went to the moon, the moondust with micro craters from hard solar radiation ( something that can't be faked on earth due to gravity) is the kill all on this. The real and even more scary question every person who buys into the 'fake moon landing' is afraid to ask is what did we find up there that scared the powers that be so bad that after '74 the only missions to the moon were fly bys from the Air Force or the USSR until China did the rover?

TheAwakened 2 points ago +2 / -0

If you see China's space videos they are even lower quality than the fake US videos

Air bubbles, wrenches flying theough peoples head, chinks floating through doors

Is all space stuff fake? Idk havent examined everything, but seen enough retardedly bad videos released to know they are fucking with us a lot.

And I dont believe for a second the first moon landing is real, and the shit Elon Musk does now is even faker

Surfsup 1 point ago +1 / -0

UnitCondor 1 point ago +5 / -4

Idk. We have icbms and such. There def is some fishy business with NASA, but as far as feasibility I totally think they could have gotten there. Physics and engineering nerds are bad asses

krypt_o 8 points ago +9 / -1

But they can't get there today?

They destroyed all their old tech that allowed them to get to the moon?

None of that seems sus to you?

EmotionalSupportPup 0 points ago +1 / -1

They totally could today. That astronaut is a dumbass. The reason we don't go to the moon is because there's no point in doing it. The means of landing on the moo.are exactly the same as on earth, and that shit is done almost every day. And the atmosphere on earth makes landing on earth Harder.

Afks 1 point ago +1 / -0

Whew bud

Stick around a while and learn something

TheAwakened 2 points ago +2 / -0

First moon landing?

Their answer to how they did it: computer did it

Their answer to why didnt go back until way later: uuhhh dont have the tech

Moon landing was fake as fuck. A year before a Space Oddyssey was made so they had perfect movie set to fake it as well. The people in control room didnt even know if it was real or simulation when they made it to the moon as well apparantly

And they also lost the footage of first time man set foot on another planet????? That shit would be saved in national archive of mankind

Like, imagine for a second the state of the world during that time

Capitalim vs communism

Cold war, both sides need to show who is most teched so they dont get nuked by other side and to use as propaganda to get nations to join the side of capitalism/communism

Soviets put everything in space first

Then americans suddenly come: uuhh ye we put man on moon we win

And then the whole world goes: yah commies suck capitalism beat them

Even if they didnt fake it, they would have to fake it. Losing space race would be huge blow and embarrassment. Lucky for them they made a space oddyssey one year earlier so they had perfect movie set to fake it as well if they needed to

UnitCondor 1 point ago +1 / -0

Waitaminute. Hold on. Wat?! Crazy if true.

JoeSchmoeKnows -1 points ago +4 / -5

As often stated, it would be easier to actually go to the moon, then to maintain the silence of the thousands of people who would be in on the conspiracy.

Also, if the US didn't go, does anyone really think the USSR wouldn't have called them on it? They were tracking it all too.

sumtingwongbruh 5 points ago +5 / -0

then to maintain the silence of the thousands of people who would be in on the conspiracy.

Are you including floor sweepers and window cleaners in the number that had to be involved ?

As you are aware it was all contracted out and compartmentalized. the guy supplying the scotch tape would probably swear on the bible there was no conspiracy but we both know he was not in the loop.

people aware of the big picture could be very manageable

Also the USSR might have been tracking something but that is not proof man landed on the moon

gbmcmxi 3 points ago +6 / -3

Are you aware that space doesn't exist?

SpicyCoof 2 points ago +5 / -3

Low earth orbit. No infinite deep space.

Everything space related is a lie.

Gaunt 1 point ago +2 / -1

Ok, I’ll bite. What is up there then?

gbmcmxi 2 points ago +2 / -0

Water! Look into it.

Gaunt 2 points ago +2 / -0

No. I won’t ‘look into it’, because I have looked into it, quite a lot, including courses in astrophysics and time in an observatory. And it is space.

You claim it’s not there. You laughably claim it is ‘water’ (seriously?)

What is your evidence, exactly?

EmotionalSupportPup 1 point ago +2 / -1

baseless claim, followed up by shifting burden of proof

Hiromant 3 points ago +3 / -0

As often stated, it would be easier to actually go to the moon, then to maintain the silence of the thousands of people who would be in on the conspiracy.

The Manhattan Project. Tens of thousands silent for years, not a peep. Threatening people works.

Also, if the US didn't go, does anyone really think the USSR wouldn't have called them on it? They were tracking it all too.

The USSR was in a famine and traded their silence for US grain supplies.

I suggest watching a documentary like American Moon, all the counterarguments have been comprehensively addressed.

Armitage 1 point ago +2 / -1

New account, here's a tip. If you bothered to learn how to use your brain you'd have realised that the pioneer plaque is a coded message that can be decoded by anyone.

It has nothing to do with being intercepted by aliens from outer space.

It is directly related to one of the 3 star sets within the NASA logo. Incase it is intercepted by extra (additional is a synonym) terrestrial intelligent life. They are calling you dumb to your face.

Do you go around telling people you evolved from primates and monkeys.

Do you try to act knowledgeable by telling people that humans can only use one percent of their brain?
