That Syrian video is curious though. I've seen it posted in a lot of places, and everywhere it was quickly debunked because you only need one person who vaguely knows Arabic or Hebrew to know it's not from Gaza. But that Syrian video being portrayed as if from Gaza would leave one with the feeling ("Oh those Arabs are killing each other anyway, why should it matter if Jews are doing it, not my fight.) Or maybe I am looking too much into it.

Just a quick note about the video. This video is from Syria from maybe 2013, soldiers are probably Syrian army. This does not mean similar and much worst things are not happening now in Gaza.
At the moment there is no water, food or electricity in Gaza, people are drinking salty water. Dead bodies are still under the rubble and in many areas dogs are eating the carcasses.

Simple, because there is a good portion of Muslims there and some Arabs and Arab students. They cannot be fooled by the main stream media if your colleague or neighbor has relatives who are from Gaza or who at least know someone who knows someone from Gaza.
Basically a lot of those in the UK are not many steps removed from Gaza.
Additionally, they are not as oblivious to the Palestinian issue because they are the ones who created this problem to start with, their grandfathers were the ones who created the state of Israel (The British handed out Palestine to the Jews)
