this is the problem, look at our current situation. We use debit and credit cards typically every day. We transact online with vendors we want to use and locally most people use the card on all purchases. People that haven't heard of CBDC will easily sign up for it since they will shrug it off because, "well I never use cash when I get muh Starbucks" and will look at it as a convenience. WIth Mastercard and WEF working hand in hand and with added perks and incentives dumb people will sign up, then call you and me (those that understand what's really going on, and say, " oh guess what? I signed up and got $200 more money to do this digital thing so cool!!...."
Point is people are used to not using cash in their day to day and will not understand it fully until they "Will own nothing and be happy" aka your digital currency has expiration date to be used so you can't save money anymore.
