I was without electricity for about a week last year because it turned out that my SEPA mandate for my ele provider hadn't done its job. THAT was an interesting experience. Needless to say, cleaning a fridge is not the most pleasant of tasks. During summer. That day i learned that if i am ever without electricity, i empty my fridge! lmao.
It doesn't affect me personally because i do not care about the "culture" that is on offer - I have books, my PC, my imagination. I know that this is bad and i am opposing it on sheer principles alone but unless they come for ME personally, specifically, directly, i will keep a lower profile while still being noncompliant. I have been a shut-in for a long long time and my wild years are behind me. But still, this is bad and there MUST be a reckoning.
