I don’t recall democrats I know saying they wouldn’t take it while trump was in office then change their mind

Trump's post was removed in October of 2020, the first year of the breakout, when it was significantly more severe.
These days, Covid has had a much more mild effect on people, and is, in many ways, indistinguishable from the flu. Notice in the second headline, it includes the word "now," meaning before it shouldn't be compared due to the discrepancies in the severity of the disease.
Do they sound hateful?
What's the context? What's the goal of the statement?
There are a lot of things that don't sound hateful/violent but are, in practice. Sort of like how jihads are coined as "cleansing." How could you be against cleansing??? It literally makes things cleaner!
