I think it's pretty likely that this is the case. I also think the timelines are basically completely made up. They can't even figure out within multiple orders of magnitude shit that was only supposedly 500,000 years ago, but we're supposed to believe they are accurately dating shit from 300-65 million years ago, etc.

BTW, if you haven't already, do nukes next. True that. First few days, and then again in 3 months when all the unprepared lemmings are dead due to dehydration / starvation / dysentery, because they didn't wanna be like the "conspiracy theorists" by preparing.

After checking CNN.com for the real story (/s):

1. Load up self-protection tools and bike to the nearest grocery store and acquire, by any means, as much canned/dry food and water as you can load into a shopping cart, push it home (with your bike on top) - fire exits are your friend here, because the front doors of the store might be blocked
2. If you're really close to the store, repeat step 1 until the store is empty or until things get too crazy
3. Head back out on your bike to set up a plan with whoever you trust nearby, since you most assuredly have not done this ahead of time
4. If you have various radios, turn them on see if any of them work (they should, if you keep them in the metal safe) and try to establish some form of inbound (mis)information gathering, shortwave radio, UV-5R (yes I know they are Chinese-made), CB, etc.
5. It's late afternoon on the first day of the blackout - get candles and flashlights ready, and don't waste them
6. Get ready to lay really low and be really bored for a week or two while societal collapse ensues
7. Now is when the real chaos begins

The issue is that most of the companies out there raise venture capital, which puts them into the cabal. The money all rolls up to the big players we all know about, and the rules roll down to all of the companies. The bootstrapped / real companies struggle to compete with all the cash these assholes get in return for kissing the ring.

Long time software engineer here; I can verify that this change has taken place to a degree that is almost unimaginable. It's not just DEI, BTW, I've literally seen people that I used to think of as conservative minded, normal people; look them up now and they've all become either gay or otherwise weird. One guy that I worked with who was a little bit quiet and dorky, but never weird. When I looked him up a couple years ago he had changed his name to a girl name and his picture looked like he was trying to be a girl. I think a lot of people in Tech are introvert nerd weirdos and succumb to whatever the latest thing is that will make them feel like part of society. It's been super distressing for me to see how everybody has become so weird in my industry, it's like invasion of the body snatchers.

I predicted, in 2021, that the S&P would break 5k, then become parabolic and ultimately rooster tail to nearly 10k before the real crash. If it turns around after barely breaking through 5k, I'll have lost my touch.
