I was a hardcore Republican. I donated to G.W. Bush and even had his poster on my wall as a college aged student. I even bet money on McCain beating Obama in 2008.

Fast forward to 2010 and TONS of "tea party Republican" freshmen storm the house. The Rs gained like 60 seats or so. All with promises to stop borrowing money. Well they in there and do absolutely jack shit. Every tough vote, you had Rand Paul and Michelle Bachman standing up against the b.s., and that was it. I realized than something was very wrong. Fast forward to now, and its so obvious that there is so much wrong. The question has to be "why"? Why is so much wrong? And when did it start? That itself will keep you busy for a lifetime.

I agree the atheistic skeptics have egos that are nauseating. That doesnt mean they are wrong. Especially when proving that so called pastors are taking advantage of gullible people. In all fairness, I'm sure you have a broader view of this and are more. Familiar with these people. I'm a deist and have absolitely 100% know That God is real and that there is an afterlife. So I more or less ignore them because I too went from deist to atheist to deist, so I've already settled that internal argument for myself.
