Good question. Too bad article doesn’t answer it, though. Plus, those pop ups on link are annoying.

I’ve long wondered who finances these politically motivated book advances. Too bad journalism is dead.

I watched the video. She states directly that person-to-person spread of a pathogen is the “most likely theory”. Suggesting that the majority of the rest of the video is interesting speculation meant to demonstrate the need for further study. Still, the video does not show what you imply. The most likely theory remains person-to-person spread of a pathogen. (Which, of course, is common sense. However, common sense is not scientific truth. Thus, I watched with speculative interest.)

May I submit normal office gossip? They guy coughing up a storm is spreading flu to whomever he’s coughing on. Stay away from him. Send him home.

It’s not merely anecdotal evidence. The process of spreading germs has a certain common sense track record.

Are you seriously suggesting people don’t infect others with the flu?! What next, people get STDs spontaneously?

This is mostly fake news. Fauci’s paper never says face masks contributed to deaths.

https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-fauci-mask-pneumonia-1918-idUSKBN277200

It is about how the Spanish Flu weakened the immune system and prepared the patient, negatively, to fall victim to bacterial pneumonia, from which most people eventually died. This site, among others, have deliberately not reported the actual contents of his paper.

Plagues were not invented in modern laboratories. They’ve been around since the beginning.

The difference now is that we have a great deal of Heath knowledge and medical tools to combat most old plagues and many new ones. The worry now is that viruses being created in labs open the door to far more virulent viruses, viruses that target specific races, etc. We need to stop categories of research, or at least regulate differently, that risk the future of millions. But, when it comes to plagues, simple health actions (diet, exercise, fresh air, vitamin supplements, washing hands, optimistic attitudes, condoms, etc.) defeat most plagues. Effective antibiotics and actual focused vaccines (not the new gene therapy serums combatting Covid nor the recent combo flu vaccines made from questionable source materials) have stamped out most plagues, old and new.

Except for prions, which we have no defense against. Yet.

Exactly. Relationships are eroding on both fronts. Plus, our actual allies must have permanently raised eyebrows when it comes to the USA, Biden’s dementia, Kamala’s ineptitude, our military trans-ition into a woke diversity agency, etc.

If you were Russia or China, wouldn’t you be discussing ways to exploit this new clown country we’ve become?
