.223 isn't going to lose a lot of velocity after 140 yards. At that distance it retains roughly 80% of its initial velocity: https://gundata.org/blog/post/223-ballistics-chart/

Like most rifle rounds, it causes damage from the cavitation effect. This was not seen in DJT's injury.

Cavitation: The wounding effect of the cavitation phenomenon is only significant in velocities surpassing 1,000 feet per second. When a missile enters the body, the kinetic energy imparted on the surrounding tissues forces them forward and radially in the wake of the missile, causing the wound cavity to be stretched outward, creating a “temporary” cavity or temporary displacement of tissues in the projectile’s path. Produced by the large amount of kinetic energy transferred to the tissue, this cavity may be up to 30 times the diameter of the projectile, has a lifetime of 5 to 10 milli-seconds, produces pressures of 100 to 200 atmospheres and collapses into the “permanent” cavity or wound (bullet) track in a pulsatile fashion. The “permanent” cavity is caused by the path of the bullet itself, the diameter of which is variable but usually larger than the diameter of the bullet. If the pressure of temporary cavity formation exceeds the elastic limit of the tissue, then the organ may be disrupted (“bursts”) and a large permanent cavity seen reflects the size of the temporary cavity. Organs which are dense, (and thus cause greater loss of projectile KE), and relatively inelastic are most susceptible to this bursting effect e.g. liver. Organs with low density and high elasticity are relatively protected e.g. lung. Organs such as muscle and skin, which have similar density to liver, are relatively protected because of their elasticity. High-velocity gunshot wounds of the head produce bursting injuries of the skull due to temporary cavity formation. A missile’s ability to produce a temporary cavity is considered an important component in wound production and degree of destruction especially in high-velocity rifle wounds, e.g. centrefire hunting rifles

Enough science for you?

The teleprompter glass appears undamaged in the photos and DJT claims a bullet hit his ear

Right! Gaige Grosskreutz just had his arm grazed by bad boy Kyle LOL

I cut my ear shaving once and there was blood everywhere for a solid 20 minutes

It's not impossible. I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home, they're not much bigger than two meters.

The bullet in flight picture is so unbelievable. What are the odds?

I'm doing my part. Would you like to know more?

Not sure why they would want to replace DJT. Can't see anybody else being better at convincing dumb goy to go die for Israel.

.22 is a ridiculous choice even at that close range. So much bullet drop and very susceptible to wind. Also the bullet tends to drop out of supersonic before 100 yards and groups open way up.

I like how the SS sets up on top of the higher pitched roof of the "Butler Farm Building" but not the lower pitched roof of the "American Glass Research" building.

Talk about sloppy seconds. There was a weiner joke in their somewhere.

To be honest, I don't personally know any boomers who didn't get the shots. Good to know it might not be from them.

I agree with the comment about not considering their own mortality. It seems like a huge blind spot for them.

Looks like the next decade or two will be a challenging one. They didn't listen to me much as a kid and they still don't now. Still going to do my best to take care of them as they age.

Eagle® 20EW specialty fungicide migrates upward through plant tissue, translocating to new growth, providing continuous protection as new foliage appears for up to 28 days after an application.

That's terrible

I've grown for 15 years. Favorite method is organic soil in fabric pots. Second favorite is hydro in buckets pulsed by a timer like an ebb and flow system. Have never gotten into concentrates. Haven't noticed any cognitive or health effects despite near daily usage.

It was recently legalized in my state so I am finally able to do an outdoor grow.

It only makes sense that pesticides are used for commercial production. Why put all that labor into a plant just to lose it to bugs and mold? Of course they will spray it - nobody cares about the health of the end user.

Property owners have brought in illegal pesticides and other toxic chemicals, many from China, that are “destroying the environment,” he said.

His deputies do the best they can to avoid contamination from unregulated and illegal pesticides found during routine raids, but Mr. LaRue said he worries about the risks they could face from long-term exposure to such toxins.

Recent traffic stops show that illegal cannabis is going to licensed locations and that the legal market is also being supplied by the black market, he said.

“Everything has kind of turned into what I call the gray market because everything is just dirty,” he said. “You really don’t know what’s legit and what isn’t … and the average user has no clue.”

This makes the illegal pesticide issue even more alarming because “those chemicals are now on the product that’s going into legal dispensaries,” he said.

“People are buying it as medicine for cancer patients and actually just smoking and consuming carcinogens. That should be troubling for the state. That’s a public health issue.”
