100% Agree OP. I do however wonder how far up this goes. I sometimes think it's less about right/left and more about Trump and the people against the establishment. From where I'm sitting, it seems like both(all) sides are complicit or implicated in some way or another, and Trump was kinda like the spanner thrown in the machine which messed with the illusion.
