First - BT doesn't have "MAC addresses". It have Bluetooth Device Addres with different structure. MAC address have 3 byte Organization Unique Identifier where first byte contain type bits and 3 byte network address. Bluetooth Device Address have 2 bytes Non-address part (used f.e. for initial encryption), 1 byte Upper Address and 3 bytes of Lower Address. Only common thing between MAC and BD_ADDR is their total length. They are not the same, not interchangeable and have different purpose in corresponding protocols.
Second - every Bluetooth device could easily tell you a lot of things about itself if you know its BD_ADDR. Including purpose, manufacturer, available data endpoints and so on. Even before any pairing, where device could ask you to enter PIN-code you don't know.
If you just scan for suspicious BD_ADDRs around and don't go further, without any attempts to get SDP/GATT/LMP attributes, profiles, services and descriptors from BT devices with known addresses to find out what are they - you are a complete idiot.
It is like while searching for gold, you notice yellow spark in the sand and then don't even bother to find out what you actually saw and just go away, to make a long and absolutely senseless movie about how you found a lot of gold.
Complete, unbelievable idiocy. Either people who made this movie are absolute idiots, either they made this completely senseless movie for a very dirty purpose.
PS: And their ugly faces. One resemble traitor Gorbachov, another don't even look like human. Just looking at their faces, I'll never believe anything people with such faces will tell.
Again this idiotic movie.
