Just rewatched that section through 3:25. Potential resources in the flat plane would seem unlikely to justify the trillions of $$$ spent on the vastly expensive lie.
Maybe to hide God? Somewhat more plausible if you accept that Satan has dominion over the earth, but even there I'm not really seeing the payoff justifying the expense. Although most 'claim' to believe in god, they don't really. That might blow up in major way if the whole 'firmament' thing were proved reality.
I might give you a point if you go with the god argument.
I wrote that off more as his hyperbolic douchey style, but sure, a secret infinite flat plane would be valuable.
Note that I think his previous science based arguments are technically stronger. But focusing on the numbers of people who would have to be 'in on it' is an interesting approach. It's not 'proof', but it stretches the credibility pretty far.
I'm going to try to watch that one again to see it from your perspective.

I'm pecking with one finger for awhile, so can't do a whole text rebuttal. Take any one of those videos and just point out where he goes wrong, as he 'claims to do' with flat earth. It should be easy?
That may be. I just use chrome (yeah I know) on an iMac, have never had bleeter, and can read or watch with no problems.
But I will say, once banned from youtube, they now refuse to play videos on my phone.

Imo, you'd get more traction and engagement if you weren't so vague about your theories, and using words and terms in such odd ways. If this style is just a 'filter' you're using, then nm.

The absolute refusal of every flatter I've encountered to engage with the coherent points made in video form by "professor dave". It's been a solid 12 to 15 actual flatters, many in extended exchanges.
Rather than jumping at the chance to destroy ball earth theory, every single one has backed away from their chance to demonstrate that the ball earth arguments are weak and invalid.
I know we both know you're trolling (or paid shilling?), but it amuses me to give flatters a chance. :)
