They will have to destroy wall street to do that. The system is so rigged with computers that distances to wall street determine land value - not because of real estate but because of data latency. Data centers in wall street are puked with colocated financial servers. Criminal cases have used the speed of light to prove insider trading happened because of a nanosecond. Volume trading determines the market.

Ending trading would be catastrophic. But that might be what they want. A reason to stop propping up the failures.

The propaganda machine, however, will put every shill on overtime to blame the casual retail investor for wall streets failures to be rational.

The core of gamestops value is it was shorted 140%. Investors didn't believe it was worth less than zero, do they buy. And shorts are forced to drive it up. It went from $4 to $500 because it's true, the company isn't worth negative dollars. It's still shorted at 139% meaning it will go up a lot more

It's still 140%? I'm all in. The tards are driving it to 500 already and shorts will only inflate it more.

Vw was once the most valuable company on earth because of a short squeeze. It only ended when Porsche bought the entire VW company

They are using "white supremacists" and "trumpist" to label GME investors now. The propaganda machine is on full attack and they don't have anything new so it's just recycling election words.

I'm half expecting them to turn to recycled gamergate "mysogyny" next.

Their inauthentic hatred of the poors figuring out wealth is delicious.

As someone else said, gamers study the game until they know the rules then they win. Gamestop was the perfect stock to demonstrate how well they figured out the rich power rules.

The reason I want blockchain for my voting system is the same reason I don't want it for my currency.

It's too secure. It's permanently auditable. If we had blockchain a century ago we could trace back everything a presidential candidate had ever bought. All we'd need us his current wallet identified and we could follow backwards through every transaction.

This is excellent for votes, which is why they won't use it.

This is orwellian for money, which is why they will.

Mechanically speaking the car he died in was all analog. Harder to Hastings a car with so little electronics. It was the last of its kind for a reason, power like that needs a traction control computer tbh

The autists did it to my AMC shares and I had no idea.

I bought thousands of AMC when the news was all "movies dead Rona forever" and it dipped below $2. Set a auto sell at $20 and waited for the slow grow. Was happy at $4 but the auto sell has me wishing I just left it sitting. They're going to take it to something absurd next week. Blackberry too.

Shouldn't they be investigating Twitter for nor making this tweet misinfo and hiding it? When a platform takes on the mantle of censorship, it is also championing the information it refuses to censor. You can't have it both ways.

This is what book burning looks like in a digital age.

I remember seeing one maybe in china or russia but the Google maps are censored now. It was in the middle of nowhere over by Alaska

Aricibo space telescope just collapsed too. Coincidence or not, you jogged a memory.

The scapegoaters are saying the people active posting in Wall street bets are billionaires out to manipulate the market. It's a dumb cover story when you actually look at it.

Wall street bets has some users that are investing and holding. This is normal. They noticed and talked about how the stock was floated at a 140% short rate - impossible to recover if the stock goes upbad. So what they did was invest and hold to stop that from happening and watch their investments grow as the guilty parties had to pay more to cover the gloat when demand was literally greater than supply. Basic 100 course economics.

The system doesn't want to admit it's broken and easily manipulated by the super rich who do this all the time. Soros has actually crashed currencies with schemes like this! So it's terribly dangerous got TPTB to allow "little people" to realize they can control the beast too, and the automated systems and naked shorting that caused this squeeze won't be mentioned. The SEC never goes after them.

HAARP was shut down. They ran at substantial cost for years, so the only reason to shut down would be something better replacing it.

TLDR reddit investors dumped money into a cheap $4 stock that was heavily shorted (hedge funds borrowed against it gambling it would keep going down). The redditors made it go up, causing hedge funds to lose money. Thus created a domino effect where banks forced more shorts to pay up their losses, driving up the price more, which in turn forces more banks to call in debts, and it snowballs with no end in sight. It was almost $400 the last I looked and going up and down constantly as people cash out rich, and banks force more buys. Blaming reddit is a scapegoat. They don't have the money, but their spark made a bunch of banks do this and the system doesn't want to admit their computers are easily exploited by a bunch of autists.

Hedge funds have been manipulating media for years. The question is now that politicians are too, will they protect the practice or will they hang these hedge funds for calling attention to it? THE sEC is pointless until s politian tells them who to go after.

If SEC steps in the naked short selling problem will have to be addressed finally

1
GaIIowBoob 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hedge funds have been prosecuted for this before. This might be the first time they got it back at them tho.

The redditors should be ok. Investing is fine, naked shorting is illegal. The fund was shorting naked so it will be tough to say they were innocent victims.

GaIIowBoob 1 point ago +1 / -0

Naked shorting is illegal. It's always been the hedge funds fault for breaking the law to overextend itself. Blaming anything else is pointless, they broke laws and couldnt afford the repercussions.

I honestly don't know. Something is spooking world leaders en mass and the Italygate news was a spark that caused censorship, shill lockdown at reddit, and congressional recognition. Pulling that thread had had a reaction.

I don't buy into the moon denial stuff but if it's got teeth we should be expecting a big setback again. China already has robots up there and manned missions soon. SpaceX will get there soon too. And NASA has Artemus ready to sink billions of dollars getting there with apermanent midway station keeping.people in space far from home so the funding glows forever.

The moon is happening again. If there was a need to stop that it would have to be a gigantic thing to stop everyone going.

If there were any proven election fraud issues, this is what would need to happen. Pelosi would be acting president while a proper election takes place.

I've seen a lot of"Trp us still Pres" and he isn't. If the election is a sham neither is Biden, but Trumps terms legally over. Pelosi is next in line and would briefly be the first woman president, unless she is implicated as well.

I'm not into the alphabet faith but I see potential for confudence in this election to be rightfully questioned and the fact is we have been told to have faith in machines that we know are easily cracked and evidence points to them being manipulated, yet none has been permitted to be seen, sometimes purely because questioning an election is seen as bad optics.

I want a fair election. I don't want "my politician" to win at any cost - I demand to lose or win knowing it was impossible to change the vote. I demand blockchain publicly audited voting. It's the ideal use of a publicly audited system of record keeping.
