SEC will probably halt trading before Friday. But there's gonna be some rule changes that fall on the little guy rather than reign in short-sellers.

This shit is all over boomer media, so the optics will be really bad.

If SEC steps in the naked short selling problem will have to be addressed finally

Another hypothesis idea;
Let retail robinhood plebs run up gainz on some stock.
Pump media stories about how the big boys took an L by the little guy
More dumb money gets thrown in the pot for everything else
Big boys call in the pot and topple the house of cards.
Seriously, where does it put on $15B literally overnight.
Seems like a saturnalia jubilee where the plebs are king for a day before the slaughter.

Everyone on Wall Street bets understand that they are playing Russian Roulette with a loaded AR-15. It's been this way for as long as I can remember. This is nothing new to them.

They’re autists, not tards.

If they encouraged the public in a different state to purchase GameStop shares for reasons not based on the company business outlook they could be in some hot water. There are a lot of rules about interstate communication and commerce. But the rules are complicated so who knows? I would not want to be active in that sub.

From what I understand, they don’t care. They did this just to fuck up the shorts that the one company bet. They know the profits are temporary and don’t seem to care. It was about a message. This is how I’ve been seeing it explained.

It's more that they understand that they are taking big risks, and that it's all high stakes gambling. Many of their memes are warnings to the community of the dangers. They see the markets as one big casino where all your savings can disappear in an instance. And those whom take these risks are usually people with money to burn.

That "Sending A Message" talk is something you most likely picked up on recently over at 4chan /pol/, as I don't often see Wall Street bets speaking in this nature unless they are exploiting loop holes with definite outcomes.

That's the lie the people running the sub tell their flock

WSB are talking about taking on JPMorgans rigged silver market. They are going to make ordinary people the scapegoat for this coming market collapse
