I appreciate your belief and skepticism. I felt similar to this at points in my life. My belief is simple. I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and the savior of mankind and that the words of his prophets are found in the Bible and in the Book of Mormon. I’m not looking to convince anyone of anything, but I invite you to find out for yourself if it is true or not. I’m not in 100% agreement with the policies or culture in the church, but I have felt like the doctrine and teachings are true.
As a member of the church, I believe you are correct.
