Since youre stumped and wont budge look into Eratosthenes of Cyrene.. Heck it even goes beynd shadows and it explains how he was first person to calculate the circumference of the Earth, and was even able to determine the tilt of earths axis.

the greeks compared the position of the Sun’s rays in two locations to calculate the spherical size of the Earth with reasonable accuracy over 2000 years ago... Please disprove this (if you can)... Should be easy with our current tech/ understanding etc?
