I think flock is smoke and mirrors for the real surveillance system which is axion.
These cameras are on light poles and speed radars recording everything.
Consider the scenario: I have a drone with a small guided grenade in a field outside your city. My goal is to take out Dregan-1.
Your phone is on. Location says in your house. I can't get the grenade through the window. I'll wait.
Motion. Excellent. Check cameras, they're black. Your phone must be in your pocket. Speed? 3mph. You're probably walking. Send the drone out.
Drone spots you. You hear it over your shoulder. You're with a group of children. It can't strike. Element of surprise lost.
But with street view cameras everywhere.... now I can organize my strikes to succeed. Find you alone. Check what you're carrying. No warnings, no witnesses.
It will be most useful to have the cameras on the street once the drones are policing our behavior.
