I've had people say "I don't really read the news, I know it's untrustworthy, I just skim the headlines"
I'm like, the BIGGEST lies are the headlines typically.
Skimming headlines is the absolute worst thing you could do. Relying on a single news source like Fox News but reading the articles would probably be better than sticking to 10 conservative leaning outlets and reading only the headlines.
The headlines are only about what thing. Getting clicks no matter the cost to integrity or morality.
I saw one yesterday about fingerprinting. The dude says there's like 250 or 300 match sites on a fingerprint and to "verify identity" they need 6 to match.
So if 6 spots match ○ and 244 ● don't match ●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●○●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●○●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●○●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●○●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●○●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●○●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●
To be fair, this is a filing by (I presume) the defense attorney throwing anything at the wall and seeing what sticks.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15692625/Tyler-Robinson-bullet-rifle-match-Charlie-Kirk.html The headline is deliberately misleading. Read the article for yourself before drawing a conclusion
Yeah utter clickbait.

What if ------ it wasn't a bullet?
If i ever kill someone with a 9mm I'll be sure to leave a .45 with my fingerprints at the scene.
Use a 45 long Colt round in a 410 shotgun. I advise using a single shot type 410
That doesn’t mean it came from a different rifle or caliber, it means the bullet jacket was too fragmented to be conclusive.
If you ever want to be depressed, look up how many people got falsely imprisoned on "100% conclusive, trust us guys" wink nudge FBI ballistics matches.

That's a positive ID, that's a conviction.
There was no bullet.
Looks like that to me.
Spoiler alert, there was no charlie.
What if there was a second person.
Was Charlie wearing a pager?
No shit.
Nonsense. Psyop phase 2... There was no bullet.
