Death ends matter transfer. Life (being) goes on.
So free will is given by dominance over perception. Free and dominant are not split.

Being implies temporal material essence...transferred within ongoing motion. Dying implies process; living implies potential...hence the potential of length in-between beginning and end.
You chose to view given will and perception within the confines of an over vs under conflict. Choice implies in-between balance...choosing over or under implies imbalance for ones choice.
The trick of logic (circular thinking) and reason (turning against one another) is about tempting ones choice into imbalance by choosing a side.
Only in-between sides can one wield sight...suggested sides put blinders upon ones sight, just like any book tempts ones sight in-between covers.
Ongoing dominance (inception towards death) splits internally into temporal free will of choice (life).
In christian terms...the splitting represents the spiritual moving through the essential.
Way implies patience; being implies wanderer within patience; tempted by haste. The process of dying implies patience; living within implies the need to resist the wanted temptation of haste.
Few suggest progressivism to hasten many into self destruction by impatience.
Endure implies being within/en (life) natural duress (inception towards death). What's the opposite of duress? Free-dom...
