The issue with Alcohol is that it disconnects the soul from the body allowing demonic influence as the opening gives them some control. That's why people act aggressive when drunk.
It also destabilizes soul harmony which is backwardness and lead to emotional instability and bad decision making.
People say Jesus drank wine but they don't mention what led up to that. He was thirsty and told the Roman soldier he is thirsty so they gave him wine. He's not going to complain while nailed to a cross. It was acceptable at the time. It's not because he wanted wine.
It's not about the right or wrongness of drinking wine. The question is does it help or hurt me in the long run.
Drinking is not wrong unless it's done in excess. It's hurt me BADLY in the long run. I used to have the most wicked fits of rage toward one that I loved and I can't even ask for his forgiveness today. unreachable. the twelve steps of Alcoholics Anonymous are the key to quitting. the most important step being to believe in a power greater than yourself can return you to sanity.
on another note I didn't know until recently that it raises risk of cancer. they don't want the public know that though.

I read the Bible almost every night before bed. I find it thrilling. It's important to me to understand God's word. Only on Samuel in the old testament. Read Revelations recently for obvious reasons. Jesus come please!

Right vs wrong implies a conflict aka an imbalance for ones choice. Others tempt ones choice into imbalance by suggesting both sides to drink from.
Each being within nature implies want (drink) within need (thirst)...right vs wrong reasoning implies wanting vs not wanting, while ignoring need.
It can't hurt. One can choose "it" to harm self. Others suggest "it" to tempt ones free will of choice to harm self by choosing it.
You're conflating drinking wine with getting drunk on wine. Jesus literally ordained wine to be drunk as His blood and wine is thusly transformed during divine liturgy. So wine, becoming the blood of Christ is the greatest gift of all (along with the bread transformed into the body) and the path to eternal life (John 6:53-56)
The general rule in the Christian worldview is that nothing is intrinsically wrong or sinful (because God made everything good), but it becomes such when done out of place and lacking its purpose, i.e. when it's fallen and divorced from God.
Protestants tend to ignore such subtleties and this leads them to radical gnostic positions like puritanism or iconoclasm where the material and physical is seen as problematic and not as necessary and good.

b) Nature doesn't suggest a being to drink anything...it forces thirst through each being. Consenting to a suggested "alcoholic" drink establishes an artificial connection, which distracts one from natural separation.
a) Being drunk implies ones REACTION to a drink...only nature acts.
b) Passive (inception towards death) aggressive (life)...hence one needing to resist wanted temptation to experience calmness within the eye of the storm.
A living being cannot be passive while being passed...only reactive during agitation. That's why aggression is so tempting and why others suggest alcohol to calm ones temperament..."don't drink too much tho or else".
