Also, everyone's needs for supplementation isn't the same ... and the nosebleeds on iodine overdosing is the first symptom ... it gets progressively worse up to and including paranoid schizophrenia due to how it interacts with your thyroid and metabolism regulation.
Sure everything in quantity and all that. But Iodine is a vital trace mineral and chemical element that the body can't produce and must get from food or supplements. They do have industrial iodine like fluoride for cleaners and dyes that I'm sure aren't good for humans.
So much fear mongering around iodine, i don't know what dosage is best
Lugol's solution, four drops in 12oz water once every other day. If you start to develop nose bleeds, back it down by a drop.
Take with selenium?
Yes that's recommended. Selenium and some vitamin c. Read Dr. Brownstein's book on the subject.
IDK. I don't do selenium unless it's in a multi.
If a dose has even a possibility of giving me nosebleeds that's too much of a nutrient XD.
Also what is Lugol's concentration? 1%, 2%, 5%, 10%? You can't just recommend 3 drops for any concentration. I think 2% should be ok though.
2%USP is what I use.

Iodized salt is prolly a good step.
I was worried about my levels and my thyroid hormone, but all that was fine when I had it checked.
Fluoride stare created from iodine displacement in the body
You've been duped! Iodine is a neurotoxin too.
Thanks for telling us you're a fedshill u/MrBig4575
