Do you expect a "cyber attack" or some other nonsense to mess with voting day?
posted 1 year ago by Mad_King_Kalak 1 year ago by Mad_King_Kalak +18 / -1

This would be the "Kari Lake" method for winning elections, as opposed to the 3am ballot drop, or the 10,000 mules approach.

It's a bluff. The bluff works with big companies because they have a lot to lose and it's cheaper to settle. If someone who's broke makes claims, they can litigate, but that person can get disclosure and depositions. People with deep pockets would need to assist with the legal bills and finding an attorney who isn't afraid of what can happen.

They can take you to civil court, claiming you libeled them. Whether you're found guilty or not is irrelevant since having to mount a legal defense is ruinous by itself.

Some are bad, some are good. Still better than Kamala.

Personally, I think they will use him as a sucker to crash the economy on his watch, as a way to deal with the debt bubble.

I think Trump’s biggest appeal to TBTB is ushering in CBDCs with the support of his base, who normally would reject the proposition. Would likely come after the crash.

If Trump were to push a CBDC after a crash, at least half of his supporters would go for it.

The servers had lots of security issues last time. That plus advancements in technology and increased adoption of vote by mail counties means we should expect shenanigans.

Bigger threat to prepare for is disruptions and chaos especially in large cities. Let's not forget how the "mostly peaceful protests" destroyed dozens of cities last time.

It would not surprise me at all if something like this was staged in order to explain why the vote counting has to take weeks.

Gee if only you didn't need internet connected computers to count votes...

Too bad we aren't able to count to 10 anymore...

The entire nation of France conducts its vote on paper ballots, hand counted. In one day.

It depends on who's winning.

I do, however, expect markets to crash shortly after the results have been certified.
