Reddit is fucked. Astro turfed to death.
What's the anecdote to this though? Wing this just happen to any sufficiently influential platform?
Prolly creating a system that doesnt work on upvotes/downvotes, but purely on numbers of views and numbers of interactions.
I never understood why a topic that has a ton of replys would be downvoted below other topics with 0 or a few comments.
It was built to be gamed.
I was banned from a bunch of the main subs for participating in nonewnormal, it was pathetic. And then if you go there it still says nonewnormal was banned for brigading other subreddits, its an absolute joke. Fucking whats his face running the site, so we shouldnt be surprised.
I am confused though, if other subs are banning people for participating in one sub, is that not brigading, fucking retards.
Reddit is horrible, to be sure. When he died, I couldn't post a short, pure-text post about Colin Powell and his key role in the coverup of the My Lai Massacre. That's mainstream, Wikipedia-level history, and that was three years ago.
More annoying than that--and I believe this to be absolutely purposeful--is that it has been absolutely flooded with annoying shills. It's sort of the inverse of the homeless situation: you're one of the few normal people trying to live in a town populated by loud, smelly, ignorant, aggressive, mentally-unstable people.
The bad drives out the good. The plan is simplicity itself.
Aaron Schwartz is assassinated. They love to cover that up. It's a part of the UN's takeover and finale against the free man.
I saw some comments about the sub r/Conspiracy, but if you check the name of the suberddit partially redacted with the black smear, it can't be r/Conspiracy, because the fifth letter is not p.
