Neither of my parents got the shots, but in recent years my mom has spiraled into an unbearable, insolent child. She’s more or less an alcoholic these days, and when she’s not drinking she’s high as a kite on cannabis (really just addicted to not being sober).
I think it’s because she’s never made peace with her own mortality, and now feels the reality that she’s in the twilight of her life. My dad might be more in that camp if my mom wasn’t making his life a living hell, so he’s definitely looking forward to checking out.
Boomers as a whole are the most selfish generation of all time, and incredibly non-introspective to boot- only makes sense for a large portion of them to go out this way. Wouldn’t blame the vaccines except for early-onset dementia, which a number of their friends have gotten all of a sudden over the last year or two.
Boomer here. I agree with your statements, they are so freaking selfish and childish it's unreal. Pretty much been that way as far back as I remember and that's why I can't stand most of them. Many of them inherited money to buy a house or were subsided in some other way and tend to be selfish little bitches with their own children. There's a few good ones, but not many
To be honest, I don't personally know any boomers who didn't get the shots. Good to know it might not be from them.
I agree with the comment about not considering their own mortality. It seems like a huge blind spot for them.
Looks like the next decade or two will be a challenging one. They didn't listen to me much as a kid and they still don't now. Still going to do my best to take care of them as they age.
Although not mentioned as much as their cuspers, later Boomers (1957-1964) and early gen x (1965-1970ish) have to be some of the least self-aware people I've ever been around (besides assholes from gen z and millennials). Like seriously, some of the women are the most pick-me neocons I've ever encountered. As somebody else said, a lot of them are extremely selfish and it shows. Anyways, yes, I've seen cognitive decline with younger old people (aged 55-64) and it frightens me that they don't remember shit from 15 years ago or even worse, where they parked their car.
I doubt it's the clotshots which seem to serve strictly a depop agenda, but rather people losing their grip on reality and sanity due to chronic clown-worlditis.

Everyone is.
The prospect of something horrible is in full drive. And believe me, if you think this is bad now -- it gets worse.

Yes and well documented in the literature
