I never selected my profile image. I looks like it was automatically selected for me. Why would anybody here put a profile image that can somehow doxx them?

Because the cat profile pics were forced on every user that didn't choose a profile pic. What part of that don't you understand?
It seems like this is something you could test yourself by creating an account and not choosing a profile pic, or deselecting your custom profile pic.
