Not that I know of. Am not well read on those thing, but accord. Net they had diff type of head gear.
Just pointing out that all the "famous" people of history, esp. if jewish or claimed to be jewish are highly contested as towards their origins and the veracity of their stories.
Much of history is fake and gay but this is just stupid. Even if he were muslim, the colonizers of America were very much catholic and protestant europeans.
yeah, so? if I post a picture of Elvis with a red arrow pointing towards him claiming that he's alive and a Martian, it would not make it true.
The publication OP refers to is an illustrated letter written by Columbus himself and it makes no mention of him being an Ottoman (muslim) or Cossack (christian) or Tatar (muslim). That claim makes no sense at all anyway because nobody could be those three at once.
And all the Indians look like Europeans. Should we consider that historically accurate as well?
Based on the claimed letter / will.of Columbus or Cristóbal Colón, he was a Sephardic Jew, descended from the Jews from the Iberian Peninsula.
Yet, as you correctly state, most history is biased, censored , distorted and written with an agenda , so hard to know for sure.
Did Sephardic Jews wear turbans?

It's really hard to know. Wasn't there.

It's true because of the red arrow?
Did you read the caption?

The claim was made by pointing out an engraving in "Insula Hyspana" from 1493, by the subsequent writer (no the OP here).
The red arrow has nothing to do with it. It doesn't take away nor add to the original claim. You did NOT address the original claim.
So, your original reply about the red arrow is just a ruse.
