Stable coins should be used to facilitate trades only. These are not coins you should be holding.

Tether, as many stable coins, are controlled by an exchange. It is a private blockchain, and not a public ledger. It's been used to manipulate the marked by Bitfinex

https://www.chainalysis.com/blog/cryptoasset-realization-explained/

Governments have seized billions of dollars in cryptocurrency since Bitcoin’s creation. American agencies have seized at least $7.1 billion; London Metropolitan Police has seized half a billion; and law enforcement agencies in Latin America, Europe, and Asia–Pacific have collectively made cybercriminals forfeit billions more. Even private sector asset recovery professionals have begun to return millions to victims worldwide.

I am VERY curious how this is done.

By tempting others to get curious about suggested, while ignoring perceivable...

Cryptocurrencies are supposed to be decentralized

Being implies center (life) within current (inception towards death)...ignoring perceivable for suggested "decentralizes" self.

iv read somewhere (cant for life of me remember where so take this with a grain of salt) that tether is used to pump up or crash crypto currencies so "they" have control over the market.

Not sure if this is factual, my cyrpto research is lacking.

"Anonymous" transfer. Because your ISP doesn't pour all your VPN traffic into a pinging wrapper and track it.

There's a shoebox behind a dumpster in an alley in a city. Everything in the shoebox is anonymous. But there's cameras watching who's visiting the shoebox and (they) do frequent inventory of the contents.

"A phone, generally in the region of the kitchen of 123 4th St, has connected their crypto wallet to our criminal honeypot account."

b) TETH'ER, noun - "rope or chain by which a beast is confined for feeding within certain limits"...as if "STABLE" wasn't obvious enough.
