Well how do you explain Christopher Lambert and his Scottish accent in Highlander, hmmm?

And how would you even begin to explain Mel Gibson in Braveheart? An Aussie playing a Scot via Hollywood.

Or Forest Whitaker playing a Ugandan? Or Lindsay Lohan playing an English girl? Or Arnold Schwarzenegger? It all those westerns with white guys playing natives? Was Tonto not a white American? And haven’t Americans played Japanese characters before too?

I cut loose from cable many years ago, haven't been to the movies in many years, haven't watched TV in years and want nothing to do with Hollywood

You’re welcome.

I like old westerns

There's some good peplum films.

Hollywood is trash regardless where they get their actors from.

Stop watching it. Search the underground independent film community for better more artistic more intelligent films on lower budgets

English actors

a) being directed by Hollywood implies "reacting"...not acting.

c) english aka anglo aka angle...notice that the english language is based on angles.
