Just like alternative dimensions exist in these proofs and I would actually spend some time looking for some chunks of the math, but you know what I havent taken calculus in 15 years, it wouldnt make any sense to me.
Also depends if you believe in relativity or string theory. Either way time does not appear to be this consistent force but rather stretches and bunches depending on a whole lot of things. This is why satellites run on a different time clock.
From the frame of reference of a moving observer traveling at the speed v relative to the resting frame of the clock (right part of diagram), the light pulse is seen as tracing out a longer, angled path. Keeping the speed of light constant for all inertial observers requires a lengthening of the period of this clock from the moving observer's perspective. That is to say, as measured in a frame moving relative to the local clock, this clock will be running more slowly. Straightforward application of the Pythagorean theorem leads to the well-known prediction of special relativity.
There likely does exist a dimension where time does not exist, at least not as we know it. Everything, and nothing all at once.
If you had no biological process's, youd have no needs, no emotions. Would be a boring as fuck existence. Existing, but not existing at the same time haha. I could see how we would beg for a reality like this, one where life and death give us meaning.
Makes more sense to me than some abrahamic god judging you for everything you do only to ultimately send you to heaven, or hell if you dont believe in him while your alive ^^. Ive never been the type to be bullied/scared easily.
And nothing in this universe works that way, nothing is created/destroyed, merely recycled.
I think when you go you cant take memories with you, but you can proably take a feeling or two... which is why I have always lived my life in a way that when I go I will have no regrets, like hurting people.
If soul's exist, a good portion of the human race will be taking regret and hate when they go.
Dont you find it strange that when these particles are smashed together in a "bubble chamber", that the formations they leave behind can be expressed through simple mathematical formula?
Truly fascinating, math really is a universal language.
I find it beautiful when people see God through his handiwork.
The first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will turn you into an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass God is waiting for you.-Werner Heisenberg
Another Universe, or another dimension? for instance, take Metempsychosis the state part of the process of the passing of the soul at death into another body. We know of this at least since the 16th century.
Metempsychosis is based on the desire of the soul for new experiences. Which is the same desire the Universe has for Novelty. I believe that's why everything was created in the first place, for the Universe to see what can be achieved, that is, new or novel things. As opposed to what's possible to be achieved. That's why we see more and more complex life forms appearing throughout Earth's history sometimes spontaneously, out of nowhere. In other words all of us humans, and every other life form around us are part of a massive experiment where consciousnesses manifests itself in a reality we call Matterium.
If you go in the article, they talk about the soul existing in a dimension where time and space do not exist.
But they also believe in parallel universe's because they claim that when you die your consciousness may still be inhabiting another you in another universe. (Reminds of me of that movie with matt wahlberg, infinite. I thought it was a cool comment when he goes. "So what, your telling me dreams are me in parallel reality's?" Or something like that.)
They make the comparison of your brain to a tv receiver which is interesting because thats one of the subjects my old college professor used to talk about. He also used to say that there was a theory that we could all be sharing the life force of this planet. And that as more and more humans come into existence, the less animals there will be.
I absolutely loved that class. Alternative history's and religion's. I was proably the only one of a handful in the class who actually paid attention.
I kinda agree with your college professor. I also believe our brain is nothing more than a sophisticated antenna capable of receiving and also transmitting signals. After all, look at what our brain actually is, emulsified oils and other material elements (matter). In fact we are consciousness, trapped, bonded to Matter. Our body is Matter (Nature). So, our brains is Nature. Our mind is consciousness dancing across the electrical Nature of our brain and body.
Thinking can't and doesn't happen in the brain. It takes place somewhere else, which means you (your body & soul) is just one dimension of who you really are. The one that consciousness manifested in this reality we call Matterium (from matter). Your other dimension "the Thinker" is in the "Cloud" for lack of a better word. Think of this how AI is constructed and operates, after all they built AI based on the way humans were created. You interact with ChatGPT (AI) on your desktop or mobile device, that's the application, or receiver/sender mechanism. The computation & execution based on defined algorithm(s) happens somewhere else (the Cloud).
"This account of quantum consciousness explains things like near-death experiences, astral projection, out-of-body experiences, and even reincarnation without needing to appeal to religious ideology. The energy of your consciousness potentially gets recycled back into a different body at some point, and in the meantime, it exists outside of the physical body on some other level of reality, and possibly in another universe"
No, it doesn't. Brain activity has been stimulated in Mammoths. Where did the consciousness go? Into its own head. All it did was retain a charge. Like an old generator. The only consciousness it had was an old circuit board, if connected back into the current, the blood flow, plasma, synapses, it shows activity. Wohaa so profound. Wahaaaaaa
First thought is someone is confusing proof with a "mathematical proof".

I always thought it was cool how long the second hand will linger during the first glance at a clock.
Atheists trying to explain the concept of a soul without religion.
You dont find it strange that people who become deeply involved with quantum mechanics become spiritual/religious?
Of course I cant find any good articles on this. Other than I want to show you something.

transmigration of the soul
Theory being the key word there....
(facepalm) pseudoscience specializes in things it cannot prove. As for Lanza, he peddles snake milk, the wonder cureall.
