However, when you start killing people based on their income. Thats not euthanasia, thats eugenics. Instead of killing people based on bloodlines, your killing them based on their income level.

The sad thing is, purely economically speaking this would probably work. This is the logical conclusion to monopolized health care, government or otherwise.

My GF is a mental health nurse in a medium secure unit, dealing with self charmers and women who killed during psychotic episodes.
Many will spend the rest of their lives there, and not because of their original conviction.
It is no fun for staff or patients and some days the whole endeavor seems like torture not healthcare.
Torture for sure.
Not really the worst use of assisted suicide. If you're gonna have the government killing it's own citizens I mean.
